Hi, I'm Joanne Shaw.
I'm the founder and Creative Director of AME Creates, where I design experiences that bring people together through celebration, entertainment, creativity, and community.
I've always believed that the most memorable events aren't defined by the venue or decorations—they're defined by the moments people share together.
I love creating experiences that encourage people to laugh, connect, and make memories they'll be talking about long after the event is over.

How AME Began
More than 20 years ago, I started creating custom holiday games for our annual Christmas celebrations.
Every year, I looked forward to designing new challenges, writing trivia questions, and finding creative ways to bring everyone together.
What I loved most wasn't creating the games—it was watching people laugh, cheer each other on, and create memories that became part of our family tradition.
Over time, I realized I wasn't just creating games.
I was creating experiences.
That realization became the inspiration behind AME Creates—Authentic Meaningful Experiences.
Today, that same passion guides everything I do, from weddings and milestone celebrations to interactive entertainment and community events. Every experience is created with one purpose: helping people connect through moments they'll remember long after the day is over.

Those three words are more than just the name of my business—they're the philosophy behind everything I create.
